Some of our favorite companies began with just a single dot — a late-night rant, a chai break idea, a college project, or a problem you couldn't ignore. If you’re obsessed with something real, or see a gap in your hometown, that’s more than enough to apply.
Is it free? No — but we’re not here to profit off founders either. The total fee is ₹5 lakhs, paid in two parts, and it covers everything: Your Goa retreat stay, NCR coworking space, Productivity tools & user testing credits, Our full founder sprint course, Lifetime access to the Kolam support network. This isn’t just a program — it’s fuel to start your own kolam. Need flexibility? We occasionally offer subsidized spots for exceptional founders solving real Bharat problems.
Will Kolam take equity or invest? We fund exceptional graduates of the sprint. We don’t take equity during the sprint — but if we both vibe, we’d love to invest through Full Stack Capital later. We also help in warm intros to our friends in venture. No pressure, just possibilities.
Do I need a tech background or know how to code? Not at all. We love builders from every domain. Whether you code, design, write, or organize — if you see a real-world problem and want to solve it, we’re here to support the rest.
How does the program work? The Sprint is a 4-week immersive experience designed to take you from idea to traction: Weeks 1: A fully-funded, community-based retreat in Goa — deep work, workshops, and shared meals. Weeks 2, 3 and 4: Hands-on execution from our NCR coworking hub, surrounded by mentors and fellow founders. We provide everything: Stay and workspace Productivity tools and testing credits Expert-led modules, guest speakers, and one-on-one coaching The full program fee is ₹3 lakhs, paid in two parts. At the end, the most promising founders receive investment and ongoing support through the Kolam Operator Studio. Demo Day is not the finish line — it's where your next chapter begins.
I’m still in college. Can I apply? Of course. Some of the most beautiful kolams are drawn before 21. If you can commit to the sprint and show initiative, you're eligible.
What kind of ideas are you looking for? We look for real Bharat problems — the unglamorous, the urgent, the often overlooked. If your idea solves for the 90%, we want to hear it.

Dot by Dot: What You’ll Build
Week 1
User. Market. You.
Every kolam starts at the center. We begin with brutal clarity — on the problem, the user, and why you. Through first principles, interviews, and founder-market fit, we define what’s truly worth solving.
Week 2
Build what's real.
Now we move. You’ll sketch your MVP, launch early, and ship scrappy — with no-code tools, peer reviews, and real user feedback. This week, you earn your first yes (or your first pivot).
Week 3
Tactics that scale.
We go from sketch to signal. You’ll hustle for your first 25–50 users, craft your GTM, and test growth loops that actually work in Bharat — from community channels to local proof points.
Week 4
Tell the story.
It’s time to step back and see the full shape. This week is pitch deck, financials, storytelling, and Demo Day. With warm intros and operator coaching, your kolam is no longer just dots — it’s a venture in motion.
